While the Corcoran is one of the Nation's most famous art museums, it is not very modern in terms of its accessibility. The Farragut North metro station seems to be the best option for getting there since there are no permit-only spaces available. The elevators are very old, and in some cases you need to find a security guard to operate them.

An historic, nineteenth century building with meat and vegetable vendors mixed with local artists and crafts. A huge yard sale takes place on Sundays. There are five permit-only spaces available.

The entire exhibit is totally accessible. Hours are 8am-midnight every day except December 25. Take the metrorail blue line to the Smithsonian metro stop.

The Library of Congress, the nation's largest library, is accessible and open to the public. The Library of Congress American Sign Language Interpreting Services Program (ASL/ISP) will provide interpreting services (American Sign Language, Contact Signing, Oral and/or Tactile) if requested five business days in advance of the event, and makes every effort to accommodate needs for interpreting services.
